Hi +Tom_M
Good to have you on board
Each application is validated against the list of those who have attended introductory rides or group skills. Once that has been done, you will receive the email and access to club services will be approved. This normally takes a few days, and +EvaJ should be looking at it shortly.
Rest assured, no money is taken until the application is approved.
If you have t heard anything by Thursday, contact me, our club secretary +sir_shannonball or membership secretary Eva. We can be reached by direct message here or email on [email protected] [email protected] or [email protected] respectively
I look forward to meeting you out on the road soon.
Best
Jonny

Hi Tim,
There is a intro ride on 6 Jan which has spaces. Click here and say you’re attending.
Alternatively, this is the thread for the group skills on 18 Jan.
If you have any queries, tag +AlecJ and he’ll be more than happy to answer.
In the meantime, have a wonderful christmas and new year, and I look forward to meeting you on a ride.
Best,
Jonny

Hi +AndiSz
Saturday rides are club rides, but you are welcome on Sundays. Good thing is you have done the group skills, so if you join you can jump straight in on Saturdays.
Best,
Jonny

Hi Theo,
Echoing what Darcy is saying - 7am is the only official training ride, so if you're looking for a 30kph ride, 8am is the one for you. Whichever group you join, there are always a group at the end in the cafe, so maybe try the 8 first then discuss with those there if 7 is appropriate?
Best,
Jonny

Hi +TheoClarke
Welcome to the club, look forward to meeting you.
Regents Park 7am is a very fast session. All members are welcome, however knowing whether you are ready is a good question.
We are about to publish some advice and changes to the rides to allow all members to enjoy this session within the spirit of the club. This should be out within the next couple of days. I’ll let you know when it’s up.
Best,
Jonny.

Hi James,
If your membership has been approved, you should have access. +Sir_Shannonball and +EvaJ should be able to sort this out for you.
Best,
Jonny

Hi James,
Welcome to the club!
We have a dedicated area of this forum called Roadbook. Here you will find our "Classic" routes, with links to Ride with GPS files, as well as our Routemasters section.
Routemasters are rides which member's do and particularly enjoy. Each week, one is put into the newsletter and then uploaded to this forum section. Over time, it will build into a library of all the routes we enjoy. Again, we will aim to supply Ride with GPS routes for these.
Some routes may be on Strava. The group tends to be more used to filter segment times rather than as a base for our route library.
+Sir_Shannonball (the club secretary) can approve your Strava request.
If you have a particular route you enjoy, why not send it to +Hilltop (our newsletter secretary) for inclusion as a Routemaster one week?
Look forward to seeing you out on the road.

Welcome +Luke_C - see you out on the road soon

Hi Luke,
Welcome on board. All prospective members can have up to 3 trial rides before being asked to join. One of these can be our intro/group skills rides, which are a requirement to do prior to membership being approved.
You're welcome to try out with the 7am group. A caveat - this is the only group ride we run on which dropping is allowed. This means the session tends to be significantly faster than 30kph. The 8am still has some faster groups at a more chatting/social pace, and is no drop. Given this, the 8am is normally a better introduction to the club and its members.
I look forward to seeing you out there on the road.
Best,
Jonny

Sat 7am laps tend to be a bit more fiery than '26/27kph'.
Think you missed the "+" there +JoeStather - any speed over that level ;-)
-
Hi +Alice
Welcome to the club.
We don't run an official 6am session at the moment. Many riders may be out at that time on their own training regimes. If you see a club jersey, ask them if you can join them.
We do run Saturday 7am (26/27kph+) and 8am (lower speeds in different groups). They meet by the zoo entrance.
Hope that helps.

The good news, +Penny , is that you've done an intro ride already, so joining will be quick. :-)

Where is that cafe +RobT ?
-
Hi +VictoriaB
Absolutely. Non-members are free to join up to three rides as guests before they are requested to join. We recommend one of those is an intro or group ride to save time, but appreciate this may not always be possible.

Hi +VickyB
There should be made up of people who missed out on places. It will likely be reduced in numbers, however do turn up and see.
It's also worth proposing a route on one of the Sunday forum threads to gauge interest in advance.
Best,
Jon

Hi +Voirrey
We will have a variety of different rides most weekends. Our C groups tend to be around 50-60km, B rides 60-90km and A rides 80-100km+.
What sort of length were you looking for?
Best,
Jonny
