Hi Mikhail
Really pleased that you have been enjoying riding with us.
There is a long sleeve version with a thermal material for 52 pounds. That is a special order item and takes at least 8 weeks.
The jersey we offer bundled with membership is a short sleeve version. We have stock of those in all sizes. (They cost 40 pounds bought separately). We offer them with one year of membership for 40 pounds which is a good deal.
We have some gilets in stock (56 pounds) and armwarmers (21 pounds).
For the record, all our kit is bought from from Belgian manufacturer Bioracer and sold at cost - the club adds nothing.
You can join at http://www.islington.cc
Click the red Buy Club Membership button
I would recommend getting a SS and wearing a LS base layer. Get the LS next year, but order in the summer, so you have it in time.

Hi David
Yes, there is a ride and you'd be welcome. Richard May will be leading and taking you to Whitwell. Great route. You will like it.
We try to vary where we go as much as possible, to keep it fun and fresh. Members get a weekly newsletter with details of our rides.
If you want to see some of our routes, look at our Garmin or Strava groups:

Thanks for your thoughts, Ashley. Togetherness and team work is very important, as you say. We actually are running a group riding skills workshop on Sat 23 Nov.
One thing - as you have been out with us three times, you need to join officially. You can do that at http://www.islington.cc just click the red Buy a Club a Membership button.
Looking forward to welcoming you to the club.

Hi +Morgan
Come along to one of our Sunday morning rides as a guest. They leave from Whittington Park at 8.30am. Our rides are friendly and we stick together and look after each other.
Details of all our rides are here: http://islingtoncc.microcosm.app/conversations/117/?limit=25#comment410
There are also a number of ad hoc rides organised through this forum, so have a look around.

Hi Nye
You are very welcome to come and ride as a guest. If you enjoy it, then you can join!
We meet at Whittington Park, Holloway Road entrance, N19 4RS, for an 8.30am depart. We split into two groups, one goes a little further and a little faster: 35-45 miles (12-14mph) and 40-75 miles (15-17mph).
As +Laura_H posted earlier today: "Although today, we cut the long run a little shorter to accommodate people's schedules after being delayed slightly by a few punctures on the way out! The average speeds totally depend on who is on the club run and who is leading to be honest."

+Velocio can you move this conversation to In the saddle, please.

This is the correct place +ColinShore
Sorry we do not forward speculative requests to members.
Could I just say that a 60km TT is quite a long one
You might be better to focus on 10 or 25-mile events, as they are more popular distances.
As a passionate cyclist, why don't you join us as a guest on one of our club rides and see if you can talk some of us into your project?

Go check it out and try it on at Mosquito Bikes, 123 Essex Road, N1 2SU - they have all the sizes, from S up to XL (size 2-size 6)
If you decide you want a jersey, we can upgrade your membership for the extra 15 pounds. Email me [email protected] about that

@Stevek make sure you are using the email you gave me when you joined the club, not a variation.

Hi Rachel welcome to Islington. Why don't you come along and do our shorter/slower group while you build up your strength and confidence. We meet at Whttington Park, Holloway Rd entrance, for an 8.30am depart on Sundays. Our rides are friendly and we have a nobody gets left behind policy. Hope to see you soon!
That video is going viral. I find those descents hard enough going forwards.
