Welcome +Francis_E
Any of those are good places to start. Talk to members and they will be happy to help you out with grouping, signals and so on. It's not super hard.

Hi Niovi - welcome - you'll get an email - you only joined 30 mins ago - there is a delay because it is hand-crafted, not auto-generated.
Have a look on the Strava feed for average speeds for he 8am RP ride. It is a very social event. The 7am kicks off much faster. Attending the skills session first is a question of how comfortable you feel in a group. Or just have a go and ask for advise from members.

Thanks +NickB
I have a family event that day, so I can't be there, but I'm sure many of us are planning to ride.

Spot on +LukeW
It is so easy to put in too much effort at the front. It is quite a subtle bit of extra work and when done well, it is smooth and the group won't jerk and split. Once the groove is in place, any increases are whole group increases and evolve gently with no pushing or forcing needed.

Great, Brian. Just say hello to whoever is leading the C ride when you get a chance to ride with us.
Have a look at our group riding guide, if you're not used to riding in a group. In any case, others will show you what to do. Have fun.
And we have a monthly social drink, too (last Thursday of the month), if you fancy that.
