Welcome to the club +henrybaldwin. Read the Group Riding document for an idea of how to ride in a group. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Oug8np03OzHQr3MOX89ZLxIr14MdRWnQBxNoJeEtVWs/edit
There are many rides throughout the week that are planned and some last minute rides that people post when they are free to ride. -
Great ride today. Thank you @Laura for leading! Hope to see everyone on a ride soon.
-
@Lewis - We are happy to have along. I won't be there this Sunday but I look forward to seeing you on a ride soon.

Welcome @Matty01 and @Lewis. Come along on Sunday morning. We meet at Whittington Park. Rides set off at 0830. Get there a few minutes early, introduce yourself to the ride leader and the others in the group. There will be a brief before the ride starts which covers some of the skills required for riding in a group. The C ride is normally around 40 miles at an average pace of 12-14 mph and the route/discussion is located under "In the Saddle" section of the forum. If you are up for that, then come give it a go.
-
@RichardM - Agreed
-
@James_S - The Wednesday North London Hills ride is about 35 miles at an average of 16 MPH. It is considered a training ride so the flat and downhill parts of the route can get quite spirited at times. If necessary we regroup at the top of hills. There are a few bailout points to return to London if you determine the pace is to quick.
The Thursday evening ride is a similar distance and speed with a lot less hills.

@AlexDavie - Welcome to the club! Hope to see you on a ride soon.
@Shannonball will send you an email and complete your registration process so you can access the entire site.

I moved to London a few months ago and started riding my mountain bike all over this awesome city. I took the cycle confident course and your club was recommended since I live near Regent Park. Some of you may have passed me on rides around the park or up Swains. I'm not a racer but I do enjoy friendly competition and would like to do some of the longer rides.
I've decided I want to get a road bike and join in with others who love to ride, I just haven't picked the one I want yet. I would like to come out some time and ride with you however, I don't want to hold anyone up.Cheers
@OllyL - Welcome! It was great to ride with you yesterday, see you on another ride soon.
