just to provide another contrary opinion :) don't overthink it - you're new to road bikes so the position will take some getting used to and you might end up wanting/ needing a different position in 6 months as you want to drop the bars, get a longer stem and raise the seat...
jus find one that looks good and fits well enough.
£1,500 will get you a nice bike. I would personally choose from:- Cannondale Synapse 105
- Canyon Ultimate AL or Endurace CF
- Cannondale Synapse 105

How do I go about getting my jersey?
Hi - if you've bought a jersey as part of your membership then once +The_Other_Rob has sent you confirmation and a voucher then you can pop down to Mosquito bikes on Essex Rd who hold a stock of our jerseys.
Any other kit questions, contact me - [email protected] -

there's a broad range of sizes +PeteC , from 1 through to 7 - you'll be able to find your size in the shop. I'd say the sizings are fairly standard - they're not a race fit - narrowish across the shoulder, generousish around the waist and not overly long... try one on in the shop.

@paul.b beat me to it (I think he secretly wants my job)
I'd charge twice the hourly fees that you do....

hi - due to unexpected demand we currently only have men's size 3 and women's sizes 3-6 in stock. apologies for this, we are expecting a new order to come in at some point in August. there'll be a note here on the forum and in the newsletter announcing when they'll be available.
note that the smallest size of men's is 2. if you want a size 1 we will have to put this in the next order. -

Hi, I was going to come on a couple of rides before I signed up but I've signed up anyway... I need the pressure of membership to get out and ride more.
Will hopefully be a regular on the Wed/ Thur evening rides and the Saturdays at RP plus the odd Sunday ride.
I believe I'm a competent cyclist but am prepared to be proven wrong!
Got a few decent rides in the calendar this year so regular riding is a must:- Fred Whitton
- Coast to Coast in a Day
- Ride London
- Dunwich Dynamo
- Mountain Mayhem 24hr (MTB)
- South Downs Way in a day (MTB)

Hi Clive, I'd buy that bike. It looks perfectly suited to your needs/ budget, looks good and you'll probably be able to swing your leg over one. In fact Mosquito bikes on Essex Road sell Genesis and will be able to make sure the bike fits without going through a full-blown bike fit, which is probably surplus to requirements as your body/ needs will change depending on the cycling you do in the future.
