Hi, I'm 54 and took up-triathlons and exercise more generally 5-6 years ago. I've been cycling and training on and off since then. in 2019 I did the half iron man tri in Jonkoping Sweden, have done Ride100 a few times, London-Paris in 24 hours and in Sept 2022 am signed up for Deloitte LEJOG. I am currently very out of shape and just getting started with training again for the Sept ride. In the last few weeks I have been commuting 20km a day on bike and doing a 80-100km weekend long ride. I have never cycled much in an organised group and don't know the etiquette or signals . I live in Islington and am wondering whether riding in a regular weekend group would be the best way forward for the pretty extensive training I need to do over the next 6-7 months!
