Hi there. The club insurance doesn’t cover individual members, but covers the club if there are any claims made against us by a third party. If you’re looking for insurance to protect your bike against damage or theft or if you’re looking for legal protection, most people will take out individual insurance (there are loads of different providers like Laka, Yellow Jersey, Bikmo, Sundays etc.). Some of the categories of British Cycling membership also have legal protection included with membership.

I was wondering if club runs are covered by any type of group insurance.
If not, could you recommend an appropriate insurance covering personal accident etc for occasional group rides?
